Noctern is ticketing and venue management software built for independent venues: music clubs, jazz rooms, theaters, restaurants with live entertainment, and nonprofit arts organizations.

It's free for venues. There's no setup fee, no monthly fee and no contract. Ticket buyers pay a service fee at checkout, and that's how Noctern makes money.

What Noctern does

• Ticketing: reserved seating and general admission, pricing tiers, promo codes, early access and memberships.
• Fundraising: donations, recurring giving and donor records for nonprofit venues.
• Box office and door: walk-up sales, seat holds, guest lists and QR check-in on any phone or tablet.
• Artists: artist discovery, deal sheets, digital signing, settlement and 1099-NEC reports.
• Money and reporting: Stripe payouts, sales reports, a ticket ledger with QuickBooks Desktop exports, and bar revenue from Square or Toast tied to each show.
• Promotion: calendar distribution, publishing to X, Facebook and Instagram, and automatic email reminders.
